HOW I STARTED MY BLOG WITH CREATE AND GO’S BLOG COURSE

I work full-time as a lawyer and started my blog 7 months ago on a whim! I got inspired to start my blog after watching Create and Go’s YouTube videos.

Next thing I know, I ended up buying their Pro Blogger Bundle which includes 3 of their best-selling courses. It’s a really good course for new bloggers.

At the time, I was honestly experimenting with this blogging thing.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT THE PRO BLOGGER BUNDLE

Facebook Ads

I really wanted to get into Facebook ads right away because I read that it’s quite beneficial to gain subscribers, increase product sales, drive traffic to your blog, etc.

So I was hoping to learn about Facebook ads in the course but this course doesn’t teach you about Facebook ads.

It makes sense though because the focus in the course is on FREE organic traffic and not everyone wants to use Facebook ads right away.

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Training

When I took the Pro Blogger bundle, I didn’t like that the course didn’t emphasize SEO much or teach you how to write blog posts that will rank well on Google.

However, the Pro blogger bundle has been updated now to include this SEO blueprint course in their best course – this makes the whole process super easy and comprehensive for you!

Also, there’s a SEO bonus lesson in the course by Mike, which was quite informative.

I then purchased this SEO course in addition to this course to make sure I had all the SEO knowledge and information I needed.

If you are serious about blogging then you should focus on SEO from day one!

If you decide to grab the Pro Blogger bundle then you won’t have to purchase the other SEO courses anymore because all of that is included in the updated Pro Blogger here.

I made the blogging mistake of waiting a few months to purchase this SEO course and by then, I had already published quite a few posts and now I’ve to go back and edit ALL of them!

It’s such a pain and sucks up so much time! I also had to hire freelancers and pay them $150 to edit one blog for SEO.

All this could have been avoided if I had learned about SEO from the beginning.

Lastly, I didn’t like that this course didn’t focus much on sponsored posts. Yes, there’s a section on it but if you are looking for more information then fortunately or unfortunately, you have to take another course to learn all the ins and out.

Sponsored posts can be very lucrative if you join the right networks and learn everything you need such as how to set up your rates, how to create your media kit, etc.

Michelle and Alexis, the founders of this course, make more than $10,000 from sponsored posts per month!

I loved their course because they both share the best tips to help you earn that first $1000. I made great money from my first sponsored post, so I was happy!

This course also helped me find all the networks to join for sponsored post opportunities. They also teach you how to pitch to brands, which was so helpful for me!

If you are serious about making money from writing sponsored posts on your blog then I highly recommend you get Michelle’s course or look into this course, which is equally great!
